So today over at www.mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com is the theme " BABY BOY" So here is my project :)
I LOVE the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge by Provo Craft. Even though I don't have any children I always think of cute ideas I want to do with these adorable babies.
How I did it..
1.) I started with a 12x12 white .. i used my Fiskars trimmer and cut it down to 11" x 5.5" and scored it in half.
2.) I cut a blue sheet of "Core dinations card stock "at 5.25" x 5.25"
3.) I used the "Baby Boy Nursery" stack from DCWV and cut the top layer by 5" x5"
4.) I cut out the baby boy at 3.25" on my Cricut Expression and used a Zig Two way glue pen to put him together
5.) I used a light pink chalk on his cheeks ( Made by Peebles )
6.) I faux stitched around his outfit with a white Gel pen
7.)The cloud were made with a scallop punch that is 1.5" around. I then cut each scallop in half to make clouds.
8.) I Then used My Pink Stamper Stamps for my sentiment. And Tuxedo Black Memento Ink ( Which Rocks!)
9.) And of course I blinged up my card with Diamond "STICKLES" ( i have a hard time not using Stickles!
I hope you like this card and maybe inspired you to make one or one like it!
Have a great day!
